About Us

Premier hunting was formed in 2006 by hunters for hunters.  We have hunted boar and big game all over the US and Canada and were tired of going to places that exaggerated claims of huge animals, only to find their 400 pound boars were really 190 lbs.  We were frustrated at finding sub-standard feral pigs instead of pure-bred wild boar.  And in some cases we were feared for our lives because of too many hunters in a small area, unsupervised, not wearing orange, and shooting all over the place.  We decide that we could create a place for other real hunters, like ourselves, to have a truly memorable hunting experience by providing premium quality animals, at reasonable prices, in a safe hunting environment.

The Premier Hunting Outfitters preserve is a private facility licensed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and is located in the beautiful hills of South Central Ohio, near the intersection of Adams, Highland & Pike counties.  We are only 15 minutes northeast of Peebles, Ohio.  We have 140 acres of heavily wooded, hilly terrain that is completely fenced with 8’ woven wire, electrified fence.  There are numerous trails for ease of movement.  Our animals are the highest quality you will find and we have A LOT OF THEM.  Our average wild boar weighs 220 pounds with some over 400!

At Premier, SAFETY is our #1 concern.

We offer weekend hunts and limit the number of hunters scheduled at any one time, for safety reasons.  Weekday hunts, group outings, and special needs can all be accommodated by our staff.
